Oh, dear yoga. We’ve all heard something about it at this point. If you’ve tried it, you may know it as a gentle and relaxing way to calm your nerves and get rid of stress. Or, if you’re a yoga regular, you may know that it can be very challenging and intense. But whether your a newbie or advanced practitioner, you probably haven’t seen many, if any, or these postures before. These 10 yoga poses will blow your mind, and likely inspire you to get on the mat! But be forewarned: these postures are not for beginners!
Pungu Mayurasana – Wounded Peacock
We’re not sure that there’s anything nice about a wounded peacock, unless of course, you’re talking about yoga. This super cool posture takes the utmost abdominal and upper body strength to sustain.
Kala Bhairavasana – Destroyer Of The Universe Pose
Kala Bhairavasana is also known at the “Destroyer of the Universe.” And that’s probably not all that will be destroyed when attempting this pose. Ouch!
