With the approach of Star Wars: The Force Awakens later this year, it should come as no surprise that the clamor for all things Star Wars has increased dramatically. Not only have other standalone movies been announced but there is also a host of games, events and other merchandise due to release in the coming months to get fans even more excited about the next installment in the film series.
One particular way fans are celebrating their love of the franchise is to attend screenings of the earlier films at the cinema. In fact, a company called Secret Cinema has been running several such screenings in London recently. However, they have a special surprise for those who purchased tickets to see Empire Strikes Back as those fans will be able to attend a nightclub in the city that has been furnished to look exactly like the cantina from the first movie.
Access to the special nightclub will be restricted only to those with tickets to the screenings. Those going will have to dress up in appropriate Star Wars attire to fit in with the iconic surroundings, where Luke first encountered Han Solo and Chewbacca. There will also be live music played throughout the event, presumably playing the infamous music from the original scene.
